Katarzyna Dziubalska-Kołaczyk is full professor of English and linguistics at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She has published extensively (ca. 200 publications) on phonology, phonetics, (mor)phonotactics, and language acquisition. She edits Poznań Studies in Contemporary Linguistics and organizes Poznań Linguistic Meetings. She was a Senior Fulbright scholar (University of Hawai’i at Manoa), was visiting scholar at the University of Vienna and had a one-year scholarship at University College London. She is member of Academia Europaea, Agder Academy, Linguistic Committee of PAN, a corresponding member abroad of Austrian Academy of Sciences. She was President of Societas Linguistica Europaea. She was president of the local organizing committee of 21st ICL in Poznań, 2024. She has supervised 24 PhD dissertations.
Katarzyna Dziubalska-Kołaczyk is currently vice-rector for research of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She is head of School of Languages and Literatures, and head of Priority Research Area for Arts & Humanities and Social Science in Excellence Initiative – Research University. She was the first dean of the Faculty of English.
