The linguistic societies of Belgium (BKL) and The Netherlands (AVT) are proud to announce the new journal Nota Bene, covering current research from across the language sciences and adjacent disciplines. Nota Bene features both topical special issues and reports of current work. The first two issues are already underway. The third issue (2025:1) will be a special issue edited by Steven Schoonjans devoted to the interplay of qualitative and quantitative approaches, and interested CIPL members are invited to contribute. The deadline for submission is 31 March and the call for papers can be found here.
Conferences of the International Society for Functional Linguistics (SILF) : the 44th conference of the International Society for Functional Linguistics took place in Kalamata (Greece) from 17 to 20 October 2023, under the auspices of the University of the Peloponnese (School of Humanities and Cultural Studies, Department of Philology).
The 45th edition of the conference of the International Society for Functional Linguistics will take place from 2 to 5 October 2024 in Olomouc (Czech Republic), under the auspices of the Palacký University Olomouc (Faculty of Arts).
