Two grants have been awarded to the PhD candidates Joëlle Carotto (University of Buffalo, Suny) and Jeremy Rud (University of California Davis) respectively.
The Italian linguist Joëlle Carota receives the grant for her paper on Spanish as a Heritage Language in Pescara (Italy) that she is presenting at the 52th Annual Convention of the Northeast Modern Language Association in Philadelphia.
Jeremy Rud’s presentation at the 5th International Language and Law Association Conference, which will be held in Alicante is titled ‘How should a refugee sound?
