The Executive Committee of the Comité International Permanent des Linguistes, CIPL, announces the award of three travel grants for young PhD students.
The grants have been awarded to:
Natalia Kuznetsova, Università degli Studi di Torino, Italy, for participation in the XIII International Congress of Finno-Ugrists, CIFUXIII, to be organized by the Universität Wien, Vienna, Austria (August 2021)
Shirly Orr, Tel Aviv University, Israel, for participation in the International Workshop on Subjectivity and Intersubjectivity to be organized by the Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale “Amedeo Avogadro” , Vercelli, Italy (March 2021)
Paula Schintu Martínez, Universidad de Salamanca, Spain, for participation in the 7th International Congress of Late Modern English, LmodE-7, to be organized by Università degli Studi di Catania, Ragusa Ibla, Italy (May 2021)
The grants consist of € 500,– each and are intended for presentation of a paper at an international scholarly conference.
A special committee chaired by prof. Dr. Frederick J. Newmeyer assessed the applications.
