Adam Mickiewicz University, AMU/UAM, in Poznań will host the upcoming XXI International Congress of Linguists from September 8 to 14, 2024.
The congress originally planned to take place in June 2023 in Kazan (Russia) had to be moved due to the current situation.
The Executive Committee of CIPL, has gratefully accepted the offer of Adam Mickiewicz University to organize the congress. The Faculty of English will act as the main organizer.
President of the Congress is Prof. Katarzyna Dziubalska-Kołaczyk, Vice-Rector of Adam Mickiewicz University.
In the short term, CIPL and AMU/UAM will jointly set up a Scientific Committee that will take care of the scholarly aspects of the congress.
A website will be opened for the conference in the near future. More details about this will follow as soon as possible. A call for papers is expected for later this year.
CIPL’s Executive Committee wants to express its gratitude for the willingness of the colleagues in Poznań to organize XXI ICL on such short notice.
