Every year CIPL aims to co-organize a Summerschool, Workshop, Conference or Symposium with Endangered Languages as main theme.
In the past years we co-organized for instance the workshop on Linguistic Approaches to Endangered Languages: Theory and Description in Istanbul, Turkey (2015), the International Conference on Endangered Languages in Tbilisi, Georgia (2016), the Seminar Multilingualism and Threatened Languages in the Baltic Region in Kaunas, Lithuania (2017) and the International conference Linguistic Forum 2019: Indigenous Languages of Russia and beyond, Moscow (2019).
CIPL also co-organizes and finances Congresses with other themes, such as the Language and Neuroscience Conference in Florianópolis in 2012 and the Summerschool of Southeast Asian Linguistics at the University of Bangkok, Thailand in 2017.
